นอกจากแสกนแล้วยังมีข่าวลือรายละเอียดที่เพิ่มภายในภ าคนี้คือ
1.กำหนดวาจำหน่ายในเดือนกันยายนนี้
2.โปเกมอนกิร่าติน่าจะเป็น โลโก้ประจำภาค สังเกตได้จากชื่อ Giratina มันตรงกับภาษา JP ชื่อภาค อ่านว่า Platina คำว่า Tina เหมือนกัน เช่นเด่วกับ2ตัวแรก Dialga PearlKia ก็ Diamond Pearl
3.จะมีการเปลี่ยนหัวหน้ายิมสุดท้าย โดยข่าวลือบอกว่าจะมีการเอาหัวหน้ายิมเหล็กภาคเก่าอย ่างในทองเงินมาเป็นหัวหน้ายิมแทน แต่ยังไม่ได้รับการยืนยัน
4.underground จะสามารถWifi กันได้แล้ว
5.เกาะแบทเทิ้ลในภาค DP จะมีการปรับปรุงและพัฒนาให้เหมือนกับเกาะแบทเทิ้ลฟรอ นเทียร์ในภาค Emerald
